Security at Stargazer Dynamics
Protecting customer trust is part of how we build.
Stargazer Dynamics takes a risk-based approach to protecting the information, systems, and services that support our customers, our corporate website, and the Event Horizon platform.
We are building our security program to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information throughout its lifecycle. Security considerations are incorporated into governance, software development, access management, cloud operations, supplier oversight, incident response, and service continuity. Controls are selected according to risk, data sensitivity, customer commitments, and applicable legal or contractual requirements.
Data protection
Information is handled according to its sensitivity and intended use. Our architecture and operating practices are designed to support encryption, secure transmission, appropriate data separation, controlled retention, and secure disposal.
Identity and access
Access to company systems and customer information is limited according to business need and role. Our access-control approach includes least privilege, strong authentication, controlled administrative access, and periodic review of access rights as the program matures.
Secure product development
Security is integrated into the Event Horizon development lifecycle. Requirements, code changes, dependencies, configurations, testing, and deployments are managed through controlled engineering processes intended to reduce security defects and protect tenant data.
Monitoring and incident response
We are developing capabilities to identify, assess, contain, investigate, and recover from security events. Material incidents are evaluated for customer impact, notification obligations, corrective action, and lessons that can strengthen future prevention and response.
Resilience and recovery
Availability and recovery measures are designed according to service criticality and risk. Our program addresses backup, restoration, continuity planning, infrastructure resilience, and recovery procedures appropriate to the systems supporting our business and customers.
Cloud and supplier security
We rely on established cloud and technology providers to support portions of our operations. Suppliers that may host, process, transmit, or access sensitive information are evaluated according to their role, the information involved, and the risk they introduce.
Security assurance
Aligned with recognized security frameworks
Stargazer Dynamics is developing its information security management program to align with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and the AICPA Trust Services Criteria relevant to a future SOC 2 examination. These frameworks help us establish accountable governance, assess risk, protect systems and information, manage incidents, oversee suppliers, and improve controls over time.
